Dedication of the Tualatin VFW Hall

The dedication of the Tualatin VFW hall was held yesterday. It was a beautiful day and many people attended the ceremony and open house. The refurbished & remodeled building is awesome inside and out. The VFW post is hoping to attract new members and interest with the opening of this new hall and their main mission is to assist the newly returning veterans from Afghanistan and Iraq.

I saw the article on the website regarding the VFW hall dedication but we thought maybe we should post something specific so that people know that the ceremony is open to the public. Dale received a phone call this morning and heard that there is now a sign on the building with Matt's name on it. We're going to go over tonight and take a look.

New hall to be named "Cpl. Matthew Lembke Hall"
Dedication Ceremony
Wednesday, August 26 at 9:00 a.m.
18820 SW Boones Ferry Road
Tualatin, OR 97062

This is the historic red brick "Robinson building," former location of Rich's Kitchen.

The dedication ceremony is open to the public and there will be an additional open house on the same day beginning at 5:00 p.m.
